J\u00e9r\u00f4me has just published a book in Japanese on how he doubled Godiva Japan sales in five years entitled <i>Target. <\/i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.jp\/%E3%82%BF%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B2%E3%83%83%E3%83%88-%E3%82%B4%E3%83%87%E3%82%A3%E3%83%90%E3%81%AF%E3%81%AA%E3%81%9C%E5%A3%B2%E4%B8%8A2%E5%80%8D%E3%82%925%E5%B9%B4%E9%96%93%E3%81%A7%E9%81%94%E6%88%90%E3%81%97%E3%81%9F%E3%81%AE%E3%81%8B-%E3%82%B8%E3%82%A7%E3%83%AD%E3%83%BC%E3%83%A0%E3%83%BB%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A5%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A3%E3%83%B3\/dp\/4471401033\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The book is available on Amazon Japan.<\/a><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">J\u00e9r\u00f4me, who is an aficionado of Kyudo, Japanese archery, takes the aphorisms of the martial art\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">and applies them to business. For example, while in Western archery competitions, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.relansa.co.jp\/conversation-with-robert-noddin\/#.WV5RbYgrLIU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">competitor<\/a> is scored merely on his ability to hit the target, in Kyudo, a competitor must not only hit the target but is also judged on having proper form, which is known as <i>seisha hicchu <\/i>(\u6b63\u5c04\u5fc5\u4e2d). <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Hitting the target despite form is not considered a win, as such success cannot be repeated consistently or sustained into the future. How many companies do you know that put only emphasis on hitting immediate targets as opposed to proper form?
